GENERAL PROJECT SCHEDULE
Our team will create a critical path timeline unique to your project to help you understand the various steps and timeframes that will effect the completion of your project.
Let’s talk high level requirements: what is this building going to do? how much do you want to spend? who is going to be involved?
Designing a modular building requires thought into an appropriate breakup of your units to facilitate manufacture, logistics and installation.
Do you have a desired budget? What finish level and architectural feel are you hoping to achieve? Is it viable from both a price and procurement standpoint?
Are you hoping to build to an elevated Step Code requirement, LEED, R2000 or other energy efficiency program? These considerations are a crucial part of the preliminary design.
PERMITTING AND APPLICATIONS
Just like traditional construction, multi-unit modular projects must comply with local and provincial building regulations. We can help you navigate some of the differences and help you to work with the various authorities and/or energy efficiency program providers in the process. To this end we can assist with:
Building control applications
Energy modelling calculations
Air tightness tests
Energy performance certificates (EPC)
