Standard Design Package – Part 1 – Conceptual Drawings and Selections for Gord and Roxanne Siddon

These Design Agreement terms and conditions are specific to Gord and Roxanne Siddon’s project located at Ruth Lake, British Columbia.
1. SCOPE
This is the first step in designing your own Built Prefab modular home.
Working with our design team, you will get conceptual drawings and pricing for your project for an approximately 1,100 sf home on a basement.
This means we will provide:
a. a new floorplan for your project; and
b. a menu of options for building envelope, kitchens, baths, windows and doors, exteriors and other details; and
c. at the end of the end of Part 1 we will provide you with renderings, a 3D walkthrough and a detailed building specification list with build pricing specific to your lot.
This is where Part 1 ends.
Part 1, when combined with the Standard Design Package – Part 2, gives you everything you need to apply for the necessary building permits and take your project to production.
2. COMMENCEMENT OF DESIGN
Upon the acceptance of these terms and conditions and payment of the applicable design fee, Built Prefab commence work on your design.
3. DESIGN SELECTIONS AND CHANGES
The materials used to finish the home will be selected by the customer from the standard options provided by Built Prefab. Reasonable accommodations may be made as agreed to by both parties and the final design shall be used to form a schedule to a Purchase Agreement to be entered into for the manufacture and purchase of the home, if the Client chooses to proceed.
4. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. In the event of any dispute the parties agree to attorn to the jurisdiction of the court of the Province of British Columbia.
